What's Unfolding

Whats Unfolding is a dance film as part of the Point Taken project. For this film, Interakt collaborates with director Leendert Pot and choreographer and dancer Hillary Blake Firestone. 

Assembly Required is a dance of objects, landscape and associations. In the film, tents and dancers' bodies move in a kaleidoscopic choreography that balances on a scale from abstract to intimate. The graphically strong images, with their literally and figuratively different layers, evoke associations with history, social and political current events, natural phenomena and with the humanity we share. The unique texture and diverse geometry of the Hondsbossche Zeewering emphasizes this ever-changing carnival of shapes.
