The Theory of the Rabbit

A document about the struggle of Akwasi Frimpong, who put himself on the map in 2003 at the Dutch junior championship sprint.

Filmmakers Rinske Bosch and Nicole Batteké followed Akwasi Frimpong's struggle to reach the highest sports podium for five years and made a film about a young talented athlete who continues to believe in himself despite all setbacks. Akwasi has been in the news frequently in recent years. Not only because of his sports achievements, but also because he had no residence permit for more than 13 years. He grew into a role model for other young people.
