100 years of People's Universities

In the spring of 2013, 100 years of People's University work was celebrated in the Netherlands. To celebrate this, Interakt, together with the Volksuniversiteit and Erik Willems, made a film about the 100th anniversary. 

For 100 years, many hundreds of thousands of people from their 18th to their 80th year have continued to educate and develop: for their work, to keep up, to be active in society, or because learning is just fun. in front: the motives of the people's university work, the people (the course participants, teachers, administrators, employees and volunteers), the resources (the offer, the courses, buildings, finances and the social function) and role throughout all those years: the meaning for society as a whole and for individuals individually.
